About Us
A1 Glass Metro Mirror & Shower Door was founded in 1989 by Stephen “Steve” Layton. As a teenager, Steve started working in the glass industry, learning and working alongside mentors who were some of the best of the best at that time.
One of the key elements he learned early on was that in order to be successful you need to always do what is right and treat customers with honesty and respect. Over the years, Steve has built his successful business by word of mouth.
After 28 years, Steve retired in 2017 and his daughter, Annette DeVore, and son, Jeff Thompson, who both have been with A1 Metro Glass since early 2000, now manage the family business.
To this day, A1 Glass Metro Mirror & Shower Door still follow the key elements of success that was passed down from Steve, to always do what is right and treat customers with honesty and respect. Just ask our many long-time and loyal customers!
